The ramen is delicious, I get the spicy miso extra cabbage, get chicken instead of pork in the ramen. The pork was a little bland. This is all I've had from them that's why not giving 5 stars. Definitely one of my favorite ramens and the portion is so big I have left over broth that I add a whole pack of instant ramen noodles to the next day for dinner. Soooo good

The food is consistently tasty, though occasionally on the salty side (not a big surprise given that it's ramen). I typically order takeout, and the food is hot & ready whenever I arrive there.

In Anaheim, there is a food and culinary warehouse called the packing district. Inside you will find food going from Asian to Cajun. I tried the miso ramen with Chashu an egg at Zabon ramen. Very cool atmosphere. The place I rate as 4/5. Service and friendliness was great.

Zabon Ramen Bar is utilising space to the utmost, with three cozy yet roomy booths, and some tables. But with different bathrooms for gents and ladies. I would not dismiss it as an ill regarded hole in the wall. Rather, the palate of the spicy zabon ramen I thought sort of ran to a balanced taste which I enthusiastically devoured. Bean sprouts, cabbage, green onions, savoury broth, ramen noodles made in house with the fine texture, chashu pork with the tenderest bit of fat. Mmm. Added extra toppings of bamboo shoots and wood ear mushrooms was enough to share between three people. Including also the spicy pork bites and the kaarage chicken for appetizers and you have a fairly fantastic supper. The chicken was very fried yet incredibly juicy. I squeezed two slices of lemon on my spicy zabon ramen, the bamboo shoots and wood ears really added "meat" too, and I thought the spice ball really made the pork chashu pop. Even though I had a regular size bowl instead of large it was very filling. Stepmum and Da shared a bowl of regular no spice zabon ramen and thought the place should be awarded by Michelin. The servers were really good at checking on us every couple of minutes to see if we needed anything. It seemed like the place could feed fifty hungry people at the same time with nobody feeling crushed and a third to half the space was again being utilised well by ramen enthusiasts, as the sun began to set. I don't understand so much why this place has some bad reviews. The more fancy ramen I get, the happier I am realizing that each restaurant family sets its own bar based on their family's taste buds, and it's to me never more apparent these subtle differences than in a bowl of soup, especially with noodles, most especially with ramen.

You can't go wrong going here especially if you're craving ramen when it's late night/cold/raining. The ramen here is pretty good, and much choices for anyone, including toppings. The service has never let me down, they've always been attentive and kind. The restaurant is usually lively, super clean and a decent size for it too not get too crowded. Definitely a place to consider for late night ramen munchies!
